The newly revised 2018 version of the FHWA Bridge Preservation Guide is now available for download (Bridge Preservation Guide). We are pleased with a number of changes that were made since the initial guide was developed and appreciate the work Dave Juntunen put into this version as one of the Task Group members for the project. We believe that as agencies move towards life cycle planning for their 2019 TAMPs, this will provide excellent guidance with respect to influencing agency treatment rules, at least from the federal perspective.
